We first met the guys from Not Here Now outside Revolution in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. We were there to interview The Friday Night Boys and I noticed a group of guys handing out their CD to some of the tour managers and artists. I watched them for a while before approaching them. After speaking to Hey Monday’s Jersey and catching up on old times, I introduced myself. They were all really enthusiastic and seemed genuinely excited to share their love of music. After listening to their music and seeing their Myspace, I felt they had what it took to become a Breaking Artist.
Too many bands expect to get signed by just playing shows and creating a website. They don’t realize that networking is the number one way to get noticed. Of course your music also plays a key factor. The truth of the matter is music isn’t always the most important component in a band getting signed. A label can almost make anyone sound good with the right producers and a different lineup. They’re really looking to see if you’re marketable and if you have organic talent. They will take those elements and cultivate a popular act.
Not Here Now has the ability to put them selves in the right place at the right time. They have talent and with the resources that come with a recording contract, I can see them rising to another level. That’s why we invited them to play at our first Showcase.

Here's a band from Miami that somehow made its way one day to thetalentfarm studios for a show. Not knowing really what to expect, I braced my self as we rolled cameras and began to stream their live show. Pleasantly surprised, I invited them to come play my Halloween show a few weeks back. I noticed their guitar player had a cast on his arm and thought nothing of it, thinking it was just part of the costume, (By the way, you guys ROCKED the costume aspect of the show) only to realize after their set that the break was for real. That just about blew me away! It's not often you find such dedication in a band, let alone in anyone for that matter nowadays. Not Here Now is the real deal! A solid, well rehearsed band that's bound to be going places real soon. I've extended the invitation to play my 12/5 show with Select Start, Action Item, and The In Crowd... So if you really want to be entertained, I urge you to check these boys out. Either here at our 12/5 show, or anywhere you can go to see themm live. Highly energetic, professional, and with a great "sense of the moment" not often found in many other bands, I'm adding this band to my list of "favorites".

I would like to start off by saying 1.WOW! This is a well deserved article to the band "Not Here Now". Next off, I would hope that with this comment I receive many of the media’s attention because I am I true believer that the band "Not Here Now" should receive the world-wide recognition that they deserve to have got with just the first day they made contact of a drum stick touching the snare to take off with the amazing talent this band and their rhythm has to offer the people in the world. I could truly be put down as a reference on any legal sheet for this band being that I was there from day one and I know and recognize the potential in will-power brought together from that day. "Not Here Now" truly is "Waiting" and they definitely truly are "Ready". Ready as far as the fact that they as one eat, breathe, and sleep music and "Waiting" to one day be globally listened to. With the amazing talent this band holds there is no doubt in my mind that they soon will be "Recognized 100%". This band is my favorite band and will forever be my favorite band being that not only do I love their music but the way everyone could relate to their lyrics which are written by the band themselves as they brain-storm ideas everyday some of which are even written down on the walls of the practice room. Lyrics that as this article explains come from their own individual experience brought together into one. To the guy's of "Not Here Now", words can’t express the gratitude I have for you all in the sense of wanting something so bad and yet setting the example to the youth and your community that it’s all there for you but you just have to go out there and give it your best shot. In other words it’s "Not Here Now" But it is "Possible". May all the dreams "Not Here Now" has, be brought to life in all "Possible" manners. In the words of "Not Here Now's" Lead singer Kendrick Vazquez. "We're out!”
